Ben Ward

I’m a 'born in the trenches' leader, starting in sales building door-to-door summer sales teams while I was in college. I went from earning $7 an hour stringing tennis rackets, to 7 figures in sales and leadership commission by age 26. 

I went on to co-found a direct sales company selling bundled services—home security, internet, TV & phone. We recruited 2,000 sales professionals nationwide and ended up taking the company public. Several years later I lost everything as my company came crashing to the ground. To say the least, this was a huge growth period of my life. I love to mentor others on the lessons learned that have been like rocket fuel for me.

Since this time, over tha last 10 years I’ve been coaching, mentoring and training sales leaders to recruit and retain high performing teams. I worked in house with LuLaRoe, the fastest growing direct sales organization, where I mentored their sales leaders and executive team while becoming a $2.2 billion dollar annual direct sales organization before the company was 5 years old. 

My genius zone is helping leaders lead their teams to success. I founded Forward Leadership out of a passion and expertise in growing and developing people, and helping leaders achieve results with their teams.
